DEAR FRIENDS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Our dear colleague Jason has suffered two devastating strokes and has a long, difficult journey to recovery ahead of him. He is currently under the expert care of the team at Health City Cayman Islands where he’s had surgery twice to relieve the swelling on his brain. Jason is showing signs of improvement, but he remains in critical condition and his long-term prognosis is uncertain.

As you can imagine, the medical costs for his treatment far exceed his insurance and are greater than his ability to pay.  As a non-profit organisation, we are not in a position to cover these costs and are seeking contributions to ensure Jason continues to receive the care and support he needs to recuperate from this life-changing event.

Jason has been with Beacon Farms from its earliest days and is an integral part of our agricultural team. His experience growing up on a farm in the Philippines has been invaluable to us here in Cayman, teaching us how to use every part of a coconut – how to husk and how to produce coconut oil and flour. He is a hard-working young man who is always willing to help and share his love and knowledge of farming with colleagues in the programme.

If you would like to help Jason, please click on the donate button above. Every donation received this month will go directly towards Jason’s healthcare.

With Grateful Thanks,

Beacon Farms Team

 FEATURED BEACON FARMS FRIEND

Mr. John Paul Hurlston and his company, JP Trades Electrical, deserve our enthusiastic thanks as they continue to be a great friend of Beacon Farms!

Mr. Hurlston and his team come out to help us with electrical problems on the farm, making the drive all the way out to North Side, even in emergencies with very little advanced notice.

Thank You JP Trades Electrical for keeping us going and providing excellent electricians to handle some rather complicated matters.

Sincerely,

Beacon Farms

 ABOUT BEACON FARMS

Beacon Farms was incorporated on the 8th of March, 2017 as a Non-Profit Organization.  The goal of the Organization is to assist Caymanians in recovery from substance abuse in re-entering the workforce.

Besides being a welcoming workplace for people in addiction recovery, Beacon Farms hopes to become a financially and environmentally sustainable organization using innovative methods to increase our efficiency and broaden the scope of crop production in Cayman.

As well as expanding our capabilities as a farm, the technology and machinery we use provides our staff with training and experience in the use of 21st century agricultural equipment.

To that end, we are constantly looking to partner with experts in the field of agriculture and closely related industries to make our farm that much more unique.

Please browse our website to learn more about how this exceptional farm operates and helps our community; as well as the products we produce.

All proceeds go towards covering our operational costs and paying our staff.

So if you can, please click the button below to donate

We would greatly appreciate it!
